The History of B&C Foreign Car Repair

1975~

Back then, foreign car repair was pretty unreliable, Most Mechanics here in the United States were ill equipped and trained to deal with German technology (these cars were always finicky).  So we made it our goal to set the standard for dependable German car repair in Ventura County.

We take pride knowing we’ve accomplished that. Today we’re just as dedicated to superior service as we were when we founded the company in 1975.

Our Philosophy? “It’s about trust.” We’re honest and polite with everyone. Our customer-service philosophy is simple: we treat people the way we’d like to be treated. We Firmly believe If you do that, you’ll be successful.

There has been a lot of water under the bridge since 1975… Here are a few of the highlights:

Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996

A Thanksgiving eve fire destroyed a Ventura Calif., auto repair business, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996. While a mechanic was trying to patch a leaking gas tank on a car, the tank exploded, causing 1st and 2nd degree burns on Laszlo Bihari’s arm, the owner. B&C Foreign Car Repair was completly destroyed.
